Before visiting family in China, I went to Taiwan for the first time. This was my first country in Asia I'd been to (outside of China) at this point. To be quite frank, I was quite overstimulated because I wasn't used to being around that many people having just recently coming from remote parts of Vancouver Island. Nevertheless, we went to a geopark named 野柳, which clearly astounded me by its Mars-like rock formations and glittering waters.
