And so, one and half-ish years later, I found myself back in Philadelphia. Philly. It's a strange experience to reunite with a place you thought you wouldn't see again for awhile.
The first thing I noticed was the greater ease with which I navigated the city. Not because I was familiar with it, oh, far from that (I am actually extremely directionally challenged), but because after a semester of chaotic travel, I kind of knew what I liked to do and where I'd find it.
My friend and I tried this amazing cafe (it's K'Far, have at it), which was overflowing when we got there after a nice run to the dock. I bought a leather jacket at a thrift/book store; had some great pho; ended the day with exploring Chinatown. To top off this stereotypically accurate day, yes, we got matcha (ice cream).
