These birds were created with a technique called monoprint: all it took was a plastic sheet, napkins, ink, and a brush. It would be nearly impossible to create another print identical to this one. (However, I must admit, I created this using a reference from Pinterest.) Perhaps, similarly, my last semester of undergrad was unlike any school term I'd had: a fine arts class, schedule packed with social outcomes, headspace nearly devoid of exam anxiety, and goodbyes to something that seemingly just got really good. Yet, I knew, after staying too long in the dining hall packed with freshman one day, that it was my time to head out. I think I might just miss the campus a little already, nevertheless.
